CREATIVE LEADERSHIP
Fall 2024. Creative Leadership. How to Foster an Environment to Motivate Creative Thinking.
This assignment focused on the importance of creative thinking in an open, comfortable, and safe space where everyone feels supported to share ideas and insights. This is particularly important for sustainable ideas, as perspectives and priorities can differ.
SYSTEMS THINKING
Spring 2025. System map representing the cycle of clothing manufacturers and consumers.
This was my first map exploring closed-loop apparel manufacturing and alternative end-of-life options for garments. It was the first step toward developing ideas for my capstone.
FUNDAMENTALS OF SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
Spring 2025. Final Project: Circularity in the Apparel Industry.
This project explored the logistics and processes for alternative end-of –life solutions for clothing – keeping garments out of landfills. Closed loop manufacturing and composting are represented here, as they are of particular interest to me.
COLLABORATIVE DESIGN
Fall 2025. Final Recommendations.
These represent two ideas of mine that were part of our group’s final presentation. We were tasked with developing sustainable solutions for a rain jacket for our client, Under Armour. These concepts use biomimicry and dematerialization to create alternative versions of the jacket.
